We organize our engineering squads into two deeply cross-pollinated craft groups:
A. The Volumetric Stage Team
Responsible for optical diffraction gratings, precision 3D micro-projection alignment, ToF spatial depth camera calibration, high-performance thermal heat dissipation, and mechanical packaging.
B. The Cognition & Voice Team
Responsible for sub-120ms neural speech synthesis, emotion classification from acoustic cadence, streaming conversation graphs, episodic semantic memory indexing, and on-device AES-256 vault security.
5. Interview Process
We respect your time. Our hiring loop is fast, transparent, and respectful — no puzzle tricks or endless loops:
- Introductory Conversation (30 min): A casual video call with our talent lead to learn about your background, passions, and compensation expectations.
- Technical / Deep Craft Dive (60 min): A conversation with one of our domain leads reviewing your portfolio, past hardware builds, or ML research code.
- Paid Working Session (Half Day): Collaborate directly with our team on an actual TachyDex problem — whiteboard an optical path, tune an audio DSP pipeline, or rig a dynamic facial expression. We pay you a standard consulting rate for this time.
- Founder Alignment (45 min): Meet our CEO Elena Vance and Head of Optics Dr. Kenji Takahashi to discuss long-term vision and culture.
- Offer & Welcome: A comprehensive offer delivered within 48 hours of your final round.
