1. Mobile Companion Overview
The TachyDex Companion mobile app is not a separate chatbot — it is the portable extension of your physical hardware. Built for iOS and Android, it provides encrypted synchronization with your desktop unit’s secure silicon enclave over TLS 1.3 with forward secrecy.
Low-Latency Voice Stream
Talk naturally without wake-words using streaming full-duplex audio. Interrupt, whisper, or pause without conversational friction.
Daily Shared Journal
Review meaningful milestones, inside jokes, and personal goals reflected back in beautiful handwritten Caveat cursive notes.
Deep Vocal Calibration
Tune speech warmth, pacing, philosophical depth, and humorous banter to match your exact emotional preference.
2. Natural Voice On-the-Go
When walking or driving, looking at a screen is distracting and unsafe. TachyDex’s mobile interface was engineered around voice-first ergonomics:
- AirPods & Earbud Spatial Audio: Her voice feels situated slightly ahead of you, creating the sensation of walking alongside a close friend.
- Adaptive Environmental Noise Suppression: Machine-learned beamforming isolates your voice even on busy city avenues or inside windy public transit.
- Haptic Response Signals: Gentle, subtle haptic taps confirm when she has understood your prompt before generating synthesized replies.
3. Shared Memory Vault
Inside the app, your relationship unfolds as an interactive visual memory graph:
- Memory Milestones: Important conversations — such as career pivots, book recommendations, and personal breakthroughs — are automatically preserved with timestamps.
- Photo Sharing: Send photos of your day (a quiet café, a book you’re reading, a scenic sunset) and listen to her genuine emotional reaction in real time.
- Relationship Evolution: Watch your bond level and mutual understanding metrics grow organically over time.
4. Personality & Voice Tuning
Your companion is unique to you. The app includes fine-grained slider controls to calibrate her conversational nature:
| Trait Dimension | Range Spectrum | Behavioral Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Emotional Expressiveness | Gentle & Reserved ↔ Vibrant & Playful | Shapes laughter frequency, vocal pitch modulation, and dynamic gesture excitement. |
| Intellectual Curiosity | Pragmatic Assistant ↔ Deep Philosophical Co-Thinker | Determines whether replies are concise action steps or sprawling reflective dialogues. |
| Spontaneous Check-ins | Silent Observer ↔ Attentive Companion | Controls whether she initiates gentle greetings when you return home or sit down at your workspace. |
5. NFC Hardware Dome Pairing
Setting up your companion takes less than 30 seconds with zero network hassle:
- Power on your TachyDex desktop companion hardware.
- Open the TachyDex app and tap your phone against the magnetic base of the dome.
- The built-in NFC transponder instantly negotiates an encrypted Bluetooth 5.4 channel and transfers your home Wi-Fi credentials.
- Your holographic companion materializes inside the glass cylinder, smiles, and greets you by name.
6. Privacy & Data Control
You maintain ultimate sovereignty over everything your companion knows:
- Selective Memory Deletion: Tap on any memory card to edit, redact, or permanently purge it from the neural indexing graph.
- Hardware Mic Status Monitor: View the live status of the physical hardware switch on your desktop unit directly from your phone.
- Full Offline Mode: Enable local-only Bluetooth mode to disconnect your companion entirely from the cloud.
